Ma'at Investigations opened for business in 2007, led by Karen Alexander Dip API. The company is based in Norwich and is pleased to have expanded in order to offer services all over the UK, and international services via a network of experienced and trusted agents.

Ma'at Investigations offer a comprehensive range of professional Private Investigation and Process Server services at competitive rates. We pride ourselves on our ability to remain a friendly, approachable, yet highly professional team. We are constantly seeking to improve our service, and to increase our own expertise, skills and training.

Caring for Our Environment

Ma'at Investigations are a forward-thinking company and we care about the environment. We embrace eco-friendly initiatives, and are working towards becoming Carbon Neutral.

We are following the 'reduce - reuse - recycle' guide, by reducing the amount of waste, printing only when necessary, recycling everything we possibly can, boiling only the water we need, composting where possible, switching off lights and machinery when not in use, and our staff are getting their hands dirty, engaging in sustainable planting!

These are the things we are doing now. It's a start, but we believe we can (and will) do better!

Why the name 'Ma'at'?

Ma'at (Muh-aht) is known as the Ancient Egyptian Goddess of Truth, Balance, Order, and Law.  Though she seemed to be more of a concept than an actual goddess, her name, literally, meant 'truth' in Egyptian. Learn more about Ma'at at Wikipedia.

We pledge to perform all professional duties in accordance with the highest moral principles and never to be guilty of conduct that will bring reproach upon our profession.

We will not divulge a person’s whereabouts without their consent. We aim to protect people’s privacy at all times. We will act as a go-between once contact has been made until both parties are happy to share their personal details.

We have a duty of confidentiality to our clients and we pledge to respect the privacy of our clients and their lawful confidence. However, we agree to assist all regulatory and legal authorities when required to do so by law.

The information we use to locate people is all to be found in the public domain and it is collected legally and fairly.

Given the nature of many assignments, results cannot be guaranteed.

We operate in the UK, and in accordance with English law.
