Payment:

United Kingdom - Payment is accepted by Cheque, Postal Order, Bank Transfer, PayPal, Moneybookers, Western Union, or Google Checkout.

Overseas - Payment is accepted by PayPal, Moneybookers, Western Union, Google Checkout or Bank Transfer (sorry, no Checks).

***We appreciate that the current economic climate may mean that some customers would prefer to pay in instalments, therefore we are happy to offer an Instalment Payment Plan tailored to your needs.***

Rates:

Our pricing structure is really quite straightorward - we charge £350 per day plus expenses. Services for a half-day is also an available option.

Discounts available for three and seven days. Days of operation may be selected by you, subject to availability.

Process Serving - rate agreements may be negotiated separately on a per job basis (rate agreed will include any Affidavit if required and up to three visits to given location). Please contact us for costs, turnaround time and further information.

About our services:

Accident/Personal Injury Claims

We will attend the scene of an accident/injury and provide a thorough, detailed and objective report about the location. Photographs can also be taken.

We will also expose fraudulent claims. Using covert surveillance, including body cameras, we will gather evidence and information as to the subjects current level of physical activity, mobility and apparent state of health.

Adoption Enquiries

We can help you find your birth family. In the interest of fairness and sensitivity, we will act as intermediaries to ensure the contact is welcome on both sides. We keep you regularly updated with developments throughout the enquiry, always consult you on crucial decisions, and at the end of the investigation a detailed report, and an itemised bill is provided.

Background Checks/Pre-Employment Screening

Are people really who they say they are? Did they really achieve those qualifications?

We can conduct basic personal, financial credit rating, credit history checks; Criminal Record checks; Employment Checks; Education Checks and more as required for your peace of mind. Checks may ONLY be carried with the consent of the person being checked.

We will require your contact name, postal address and telephone number for your company, in addition to a copy of the Curriculum Vitae and a completed authorisation form signed by the candidate prior to any checks being carried out. Upon receipt of payment and the requested information from yourselves, we will commence the check process immediately and aim to provide the results within 14 days.

Benefit Fraud

Benefit fraud is theft, it is taking money away from the more vulnerable members of the community, those who need it most, as well as adding to the national tax bill that we all contribute towards. People commit fraud in many different ways.
The types of fraud we encounter are: Working and claiming; Non-disclosure of property, capital or income; Non-disclosure of partner, non dependants or sub tenants; False tenancies; Failing to declare a change of address; Landlord fraud; Fictitious tenancies.

Our investigation will focus on gathering facts and sufficient evidence so that relevant action may be taken.

Any surveillance carried out will be in accordance with the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.

Business/Company Checks

With a comprehensive range of reports including company credit ratings, company identification information and details on company directors, Ma'at Investigations can help you reduce the risks.

Credit Checks

We can perform consumer credit status check enquiries. We conform to the requirements of the Data Protection Act (1998), Reg No: Z9896215.

Crime Prevention Advice

We can advise on methods of protecting yourself and your property including burglary prvenetion, bogus callers, doors, flats and apartments, glazing, lighting, security alarms, windows, property marking, vehicles, personal safety. Preventing crime at your place of business, or in your home.

Genealogy/Family Tree

We can make use of many years of Genealogical experience, and can utilise a comprehensive bank of resources to find what you are looking for. We can make field trips to gather local knowledge, anecdotal evidence of family history, and we will search for relevant pictures and photographs. We keep you regularly updated with developments throughout the enquiry, and at the end of the investigation a detailed report is provided. We will endeavour to search back as far as records allow, beyond the usual Birth, Death, Marriage records. It is very difficult to say how long such an enquiry might take, as it would depend on the information you might have available.

Required copies of certificates, and access to certain records are classed as expenses additional to our standard fee of £350 per day.

House Detective/Neighbourhood Checks

Moving home is a huge commitment, but how much do you know about your prospective new neighbourhood? We will visit the area and physically monitor the environment at select times of day/night and remain for sufficient lengths of time in order to determine things like traffic levels, children playing, noisy neighbours etc. At the end of the investigation a detailed report is provided. Can you afford not to find out what you're getting into BEFORE you buy?

Identity Theft

Your personal information is valuable to criminals, they can use it to pretend to be you, open bank accounts, credit cards, make purchases in your name, and at your expense. If your identity is stolen, you may have difficulty getting loans, credit cards or a mortgage until the matter is sorted out. Ma'at Investigations can advise on how you can keep your information secure to minimise the risk of private individual and corporate crime.

Insurance Fraud

Matrimonial/Infidelity/Cheating Enquiries/Fidelity Checks

Perhaps you suspect an affair? It can be better to know for sure. Let us help you find the truth. Using personal surveillance (including still/video photography, if required) we will provide you with appropriate information for you to consider and act upon accordingly. We keep you regularly updated with developments throughout the enquiry, always consult you on crucial decisions, and provide you with a detailed report at the end.

Missing Persons/Tracing

We can help you find missing family and lost friends, and also conduct adoption tracing. In the interest of fairness and sensitivity, we will act as intermediaries to ensure the contact is welcome on both sides. We keep you regularly updated with developments throughout the enquiry, always consult you on crucial decisions, and at the end of the investigation a detailed report, and an itemised bill is provided. Our success rate is currently 99% (as at April 2009).

We take into consideration that many people have a budget to keep to, so rather than an hourly rate we charge a fixed fee of £350 per day plus expenses, which is payable regardless of outcome.

Contact us us with as much information as you can about the person you seek, for instance, their name/s, date and place of birth, their relation to you (mother, father, child, grandparent, friend etc), last known address, parents names, occupation/s, any known hobbies/interests, description etc (be sure to tell us your reasons for wanting to locate this person).

Process/Legal Document Serving

Our Process Servers handle a wide range of papers on a fixed fee basis for Solicitors, Lawyers, Government Agencies, Companies and Private Individuals, including: Writs, Summons, Claim forms, Divorce petitions, Court Orders, ASBO's, Statutory demands, Bankruptcy or Winding up petitions, Family proceedings, Injunctions.

From our office we can personally serve in the following areas: NR, IP, CB, PE, SG, MK, LU, AL HP, however service can be arranged at any address in the UK via our network of experienced and professional agents.

We serve your documents promptly in accordance with CPR (Civil Procedure Rules), and in accordance with your special instructions, and we ensure that all statements or affidavits are completed correctly. Ma'at Investigations will attempt to serve any legal document within 24 hours of receipt. We typically provide proof of service within 48 hours.

All fees quoted include a Certificate of service or a sworn Affidavit of service as required, and up to 3 visits. Additional information including:- working hours, times the subject is usually at home, vehicle details, physical description and/or photograph is always welcome to aid us in effecting good service for you.

Specialist Research

Research on any given subject matter is provided to your specification. We keep you regularly updated with developments throughout the enquiry, always consult you on crucial decisions, and at the end of the investigation a detailed report and an itemised bill is provided.

Test Purchasing/Mystery Shopping

As MSPA Silver Certified mystery shoppers, you can be assured of an objective and detailed report in any given scenario or environment. High tech body-worn covert camera can be provided.

Undercover Operations

Do you suspect that money may be going missing from your business? Perhaps you're concerned about bullying in the workplace? By placing our undercover operatives (with covert camera if required) on the payroll, he/she can work alongside your staff, observe and report on the activities without arousing suspicion. You will receive a weekly written report.

TERMS:

Commercial contracts must be settled within 30 days of the invoice date. Late payments may be subject to Statutory interest at the appropriate rate. Retainer fees may be requested prior to commencement of any case or assignment.
